caerula's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- homeowners I've suspected for a while that there's something wrong, health-wise, beyond the usual problems. My physical this morning seems to bear out that feeling. The doctor referred me to a rheumatologist because she suspects I have fibromyalgia. This is a bad thing. I know, because my mom has it. But the specialist can't see me until Nov. 2, so all I can do is carry on and try not to obsess to much. Fortunately I have lots of other things to keep me busy. Yesterday we toured our house for the very first time since it's been finished, shortly before signing our life away at the closing. It is quite lovely, and I scared Blue when I gasped out loud upon entering our bathroom -- he came running in saying "what's wrong." I could only point. He kept saying "what, what?" I finally mangaged to explain that there were drawers in the bathroom cabinent. Drawers. I've not had a bathroom with drawers since I left my parents house. We have a whole column of them. Blue did not grasp my wonder and excitement, but I suspect he will be grateful when he realizes this means that my feminine accoutrements will not have to even touch his manly hygenic products. We also have a plethora of cabinents and drawers in the kitchen, including an actual pantry, and a bar area. Whoohoo! Never mind the complete extra ROOM which I am taking over for my sewing/office area. After signing our lives away we proceeded to Home Depot and Loews to drool over fixtures, paint chips, wallpaper, etc. Not that we can afford any of that stuff right now, but soon. Soon. I am beginning to understand the attraction of the home improvement superstore -- who knew there were so many choices of faucets, lighting fixtures, and paint colors in the world?
