caerula's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sunday Again have not updated in a while, because there's just too much going on. Court is done; we are waiting for the judge's decision, which is supposed to come on the 11th of July. I'm working on an entry about what happened in court, but am still not really up to finishing it. I can only think about it a little at a time. The puppy we have dubbed Sophie Beth came home on Friday. She's been a very very sweet puppy so far, except for some accidents; she hasn't really figured out how to let us know when she needs to go out. She's going to be good for all of us. YoungBlue has been hanging all over her and it doesn't bother her; she is very patient. And when I've been lying on the sofa (which I've done much of the weekend; combination of exhaustion and cramps) she come and lies right next to me. Such a sweetheart. The felines are Not Thrilled, needless to say. Daisy has lived with dogs before and seems resigned, as she has already shown Sophie who's boss by swiping the puppy across the nose a couple of times. Charlotte has no clue what's going on, and hid under the bed most of the day yesterday. She's out now, and making what she clearly thinks is a very threatening noise but really sounds sort of like a remote-control car. A tiny one. I don't have any pictures of Sophie to scan in yet, but go look at Evilena and Mechaieh's respective cute puppies. BigBlue just left to go get Bisquick, doggie treats, and kitty litter.
